Honoring the nominees 2025 in Abu Dhabi

24 nominees in this year’s public voting will compete for the crown of the global business community. They will receive their nomination certificates at an event in the capital of the United Arab Emirates at the start of the public voting.

From clean Electricity Storage to smart home solutions, from transportation technology for hydrogen via a liquid carrier to Digital Factory Synergies – this year’s field of innovative companies again includes companies from all sectors, all continents and all forms of innovation.

On October 8th and 9th, an illustrious circle of innovators will meet at the Ramada Corniche Hotel in Abu Dhabi for the official launch of this year’s public voting. There they will receive their certificates from Michael Oelmann, a member of the World Technology Leader Awards jury.

Michael Oelmann

“It has been a great honor and, above all, a huge pleasure to be able to view and evaluate these fantastic innovations,” says Michael Oelmann. Although the nomination phase is still in full swing and nominees are still being added, it can already be said that this is a special vintage. The global economy is grappling with many uncertainties and difficulties. But the innovative strength of companies remains undiminished. “We are on the threshold of a new technological and economic era. And we want to demonstrate who is among the pioneers in this field,” says Oelmann.

The meeting also marks the first kickoff of this year’s awards events. One month later, Europe will host this year’s ceremony, where the winners of the coveted Audience Awards will be announced. Berlin will be the venue for this year’s ceremony on November 14 and 15.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Hermann Simon

The guest of honor there will be Professor Hermann Simon. The best-selling author of ‘Hidden Champions’ and founder and chairman of Simon, Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants worked as a Visiting Professor at numerous institutions, such as Harvard Business School, Stanford University, London Business School, INSEAD, Keio University Tokyo and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hermann Simon reveals the secrets of success and how companies can sustain their world market leadership by constant innovation, commitment to globalisation, and the effective use of a competitive strategy.

Exemplary examples of such successes will be brought to the big stage by the participants of the public voting.
